Biographical note
Mary Miller was responsible for the financial and budgetary planning, physical facilities planning and construction, and management of the Merced campus. She was also the campus budget officer, working with the Chancellor, Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and other cabinet members. She represented the campus for all budget, business and financial matters with the Office of the President in Sacramento. Before joining UC Merced, Miller was Texas A&M University's Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration. While at Texas A&M, she was awarded a Student Government Administrator of the Year award in 1994 and 1999. She also received an Executive of the Year Award in 2003. Miller received her B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University.
