Scope and Contents
The Logistical Support/Service Facilities project is designed to contain 18,128 assignable square feet within a total area of about 20,660 gross square feet for campus facilities management and environment, health and safety (EHS) functions. The EHS laboratory and waste function was accommodated within a portion of the State-funded Science and Engineering Building when occupied. The smaller LSSF program is a response to the program modification and to budget constraints. The remaining LSSF program elements and functions are accommodated within the current project. The facility will be located on a site near the campus central plant. The project consists of office, warehouse/multipurpose, shop, and hazardous materials storage space for Facilities Management and Environment, Health and Safety. The project includes three metal clad buildings on the same site segregating functions, and sharing a loading dock. The project is scheduled to be completed in time for Fall 2008.
