Scope and Contents
The Science and Engineering Building provides about 110,000 assignable square feet within a total area of 234,000 gross square feet, for research laboratories, laboratory support, teaching laboratories and offices for the natural sciences and engineering divisions. The building also includes administrative office space for the divisional deans. The building consists of two three-story bars organized in plan to form an L shape. A partial basement beneath the intersection of the bars, will house the campus vivarium and a mechanical space in the roof will house the buildings mechanical equipment.
