The original artwork, by Doug Jamieson, was was presented as a retirement gift to Keith Alley, Professor School of Natural Sciences, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost. The rendering is of Stephen D. Peterson Memorial Point, because the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost worked to bring to fruition before his retirement in June, 2012.
